| Course Description | An elementary course designed to students who have completed CLCP1113 and CLCP1123 or CPTH1113 and CPTH1123. For students who have not completed any of the above courses, they are invited to join the Putonghua placement offered by CLC. Students who have completed higher level of similar Putonghua courses are not allowed to take this course.
Course contents focus on enriching students’ vocabularies and grammar points through language tasks/activities and contextualized exercises. Students will be able to collect information through asking and answering questions and communicate under real life contexts. Topic include simple introduction of oneself, frequently asked questions on travel related issues and provide information, etc. |

| Course Description | An elementary course designed to students who have completed CLCP1113 and CLCP1123 or CPTH1113 and CPTH1123. Course contents focus on improving students’ pronunciation, enhancing their speaking and listening ability of Putonghua, helping them to build up abilities in presenting basic ideas in real life communication settings. Tasks like picture description, speaking topics and simple presentation will be adopted to train students in presentation with various everyday settings. |
