Application Procedures for Non-local Fee-paying Students

 

Application begins

Step 1

 

*You will receive your application result by email, normally within a month. Your application process will be delayed if you are unable to submit all required information and/or documents at the time of your application. In case a final decision cannot be made about your application, you will be placed on “hold”. You will be notified of the result once it is available.

Accept offer of admission

Step 2

  • Log-in to the application system and confirm the course(s) you are admitted to
  • Settle the fees within 3 working days after your application is approved (we accept Visa and MasterCard cards)

Download admission package

Step 3

  • Log-in to the application system and download your offer of admission which contains:
    • Letter of Admission
    • Other important information about the programme

Submit required documents

Step 4

  • Follow the instructions in your offer of admission and complete:
    • Confirmation of Acceptance
    • Student visa application and other documents (as indicated on the checklist)

Return the above documents to CUHK by COURIER (FedEx, DHL, UPS or SF Express) before the deadline

 

*Processing a student visa will take at least 6 to 8 weeks, so please make sure your documents will arrive by the stipulated deadline.
