CUHK International Summer School 2026 (July Session) will open for application soon!

CUHK Students

You can apply for the ISS if you are currently a CUHK student. If you are a secondary/high school students who have received a confirmed offer from CUHK but yet to commence your university study, you must apply as a fee-paying student.

Exchange Students

You can apply for the ISS as an EXCHANGE STUDENT if you are studying at one of CUHK’s exchange partners and have been nominated for exchange. Please contact the study abroad office of your home institution for details about getting nominated to study at the ISS.

Non-local Fee-paying Students

You can apply for the ISS as a NON-LOCAL FEE-PAYING STUDENT if you are:

  1. A full-time undergraduate student from an institution that is not a CUHK exchange partner, or
  2. A student studying at a CUHK exchange partner but was NOT nominated for exchange (except the University of California), or
  3. A secondary/high school senior year student who have received a confirmed offer of admission from a recognized university outside of Hong Kong

Local Fee-paying Students

You can apply for the ISS as a LOCAL FEE-PAYING STUDENT if you are:

  1. A Hong Kong permanent resident studying at a local (other than CUHK) or overseas university
  2. A secondary/high school senior year student who have received a confirmed offer of admission from a recognized university in Hong Kong
